Dear parents and students,
Happy Monday, it was a marvellous day for us. We started off with
getting our spelling books back. The students have a review lesson this week
and this Friday, we will be having a spelling test (20) based on all 50 words
from our past lessons.
In math, we first started with taking up our answers from
Friday’s lessons. Then, we completed a challenge where the students had to find
the number of triangles in the image below. The students who got the answer
earned a Target.
We then looked at how to organize the number of triangles in a
chart to make it easier. This lead to our lesson ‘Using number patterns to
solve problems. This was a great lesson to take ‘math’ and place it into real
world situations. We did a quick problem together and then the students started
working on the worksheets.
In UOI, the students are still making their way through the
summative package. Most of the students have finished the hypothesis and are on
their procedures. Tomorrow, we will have our first day in the lab.

this date, our system closes and is unable to open for November ordering. All
payments are due on Friday, November 3rd.

and online via Freshbooks.

If you choose to pay through
Freshbooks, please choose the cheque option on the ordering
site.

Cheque payments will not be accepted.

Shortly after completing your order, a
Freshbooks invoice will be sent to your email.

It may take one or two days to process your
order to Freshbooks, so please be check your email diligently for the
invoice.
Another item has been added to our Hot Lunch Program as a
Special. This month's special is Lasagna that will be available every
Friday!
