Mindful Monday

Hello parents and students,

Sorry for the late post, we had the BBQ tonight. Today started off with our very first math test. We worked really hard, here is a picture of the hardworkers relaxing after the test.

After the test, we worked on spelling and the Spain project. The project is really coming together. Tomorrow, the students will finalize the project and put it together.

In UOI, we discussed procedures; the students wrote out the procedures for putting on a coat. They realized how difficult writing procedures can be. The students then wrote the procedures for the Smarties  Lab. Next we reviewed observation tables and actually comepleted the lab. The hardest part was remembering percentages and how to use the equation. 

For gym, we practiced the dance; 4 of the girls worked to put it together and then we learned it at a class. Tomorrow we film!! 

Homework/Reminders

• Wear gym clothes for the field trip tomorrow 
• No math homework 
• Spelling due Thursday 
• Read for 30 mins 
• Bring a pair of black/yellow/red clothes for the Spain dance tomorrow 
• Spain project: finalize printing, so tomorrow you can add it to the board
