Hello parents and students,
We are getting close; tomorrow is
International Day! The children have been intensely working on the project and
it looks great. We are so excited so show the parents the entire project.
In math today, we started our new
unit Number Patterns and the students did a pre-test. Tomorrow hopefully, we
will be starting our first lesson of the unit.
In UOI, we reviewed different types
of graphs and we created a note on it. Next, the students picked the graph that
they thought would best suit the Skittles Lab.
Here are some pictures of the student’s working on their graphs.
Next, we placed everyone’s graphs on
the board (picture below) and discussed some of the conclusions we could make
based on the results.
Tonight, for homework they have to
write their conclusion for the lab. Tomorrow, we will review what they can do
to improve their conclusions.

- · UOI: complete conclusion
