I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. Today, we began our day by going through the lost and found in assembly. There are hundreds of items that are yet to be claimed. If you (or your child) are missing items then please drop by the auditorium to claim the belongings.
In math, we did a table discussion review and then we learned how to compare and order decimals. I showed two strategies that the students can use to compare decimals: place-value and number-line. On the homework, I would like the students to use these strategies so that they have a visual way of comparing the information. They MUST show their work using these strategies on try these question 2 and practice question 1. Here a song video that shows the place-value method.
In language, we completed our spelling test and we started our OREO persuasion graphic organizer. Here is a picture of the anchor chart that the students can refer to.
In UOI, the groups completed their ID cards and then we did presentations on the different phyla. Here are the pictures of the groups working.
