Tentative Schedule (adjusted Sept. 5)

Tentative Schedule (adjusted Sept. 5)

Thursday 12 April 2018

Today, was a good day. I sat in on music class to see how the students are doing with their songs. They are doing much better. Mr. Oliver will be sending along the music and the words for me to post on the blog for everyone.

Math class was extended this morning as we went over the Transformations page that I had handed out. There were a lot of questions about the Math, but I went through the problem ones on the board. It helped out a lot of students. Ms. Walls did an extra Math lesson at Recess time to provide extra practice for those students who felt they needed it.

In UOI I gave the students time to study their notes before the quiz. After the quiz the students used the time to research their social issue and then get them approved.

Homework:

Language:
Read Chapter 8 from our Novel
Study Lesson #24 for Spelling Test Tomorrow (Friday April 13th)
Finish Spelling Workbook for Tomorrow (Friday April 13th)

Math:
Study for Transformational Geometry Quiz using the Transformational Geometry Review
Quiz on Transformational Geometry
Taking up sheets on Tiling Patterns

UOI:
Research for "Take a Stand" assignment

So, get out there SJA, and raise some money!!!!!

Choir Students Here is a link to your song provided by Ms. Ross

A note from Arts Night- We are asking that each student bring in a picture from their childhood…it can be of any change (baby, toddler, young child, etc). Please send in all pictures no later than April 20th. Thank you in advance!

As a reminder: St.Jude's Academy is now affiliated with an official soccer club called St. Jude's FC. Students of St.Jude are given a 33% discount that will allow them to join the club and play competitively with other soccer clubs this spring and summer (starting most likely April to September). The students will be working with excellent coaches and going to competitions on the weekend. Practices will be held (most likely) right after school twice a week. In April, besides the soccer field, the students will have a chance to play in our official soccer dome! I think this is a great opportunity!! The students have been given forms (I can e-mail extras), they should try to submit the form as soon as possible.
