Monday in May

Hello parents and students,

I hope everyone is having a great evening so far. Today, in class we began with math. The students completed a round-table discussion about circumference of a circle. We then watched a video about perimeter. Here is the link. The students completed questions on perimeter by using grids and by measuring. For question number 1, on the measuring to find perimeter sheet, the perimeter for the objects are....

In language, we first completed the grade 5 spelling test while the grade 6 spellers went to Ms.Haag's room. After the spelling test, the students' worked on their art project for Shannen. Here are some pictures from the Cree artists.

In UOI, we discussed programming and how developers program various technologies using coding "language" such as Java, PHP, HTML. As a class, we came up with a list of computerized technology.
