Evening Parents and Students,
WE MADE
IT! The first week of school is over and it was wonderful. Today, the students started
the day with a math pre-assessment, the students worked very hard to make sure
to get done as much as possible.
Afterwards,
the students started their I.B. profile title page; it is homework if the
student did not finish it in class. We have also started DRA’s in class, they
will continue next week.
In the
afternoon, the students completed their IB learning attitudes and attributes “Tweets”
and we had our first class presentation! The students did a very excellent job
of not only presenting but providing each other with constructive feedback.
At the
end of the day, we had our house games; for the PYP’s Kapa won, the MYP’s
Theta, and for the teachers Kapa won again. It definitely looks like Kapa is in
lead once again.
Homework:
- o Complete IB profile title pages
- o Bring in Fiesta Forms
- o Bring in signed student handbook pages (in welcome e-mail)
