Hello parents and students,
We had a super efficient day
today, we started off with math; we reviewed the homework from last night on
prime and composite numbers. I found that the majority of the students
understood it, which is amazing because it was a hard concept. I also provided
them with a math review sheet to prepare them for the math check tomorrow.
In UOI, we took up the chemical
and physical changes homework from last night and we did a Plicker quiz in
class. The student’s loved the quiz and the average score was 86%.
For language, the students
completed their OWA’s on news report. A lot of the student’s went in very
confident and they worked very hard on the assessment. Here is a picture of
them during the assessment.
Homework/Reminders
· Tomorrow we have a math check,
please make sure to complete the review sheet for homework
· Read for 30 minutes and complete
another reading log (check the self-assessment sheet to make sure you are doing
everything you need to)
· Scholastic order due September 27
