Dear Parents and Students,
Wow, today was a busy and intense
day. We started off with working on DRA’s. Most of the students are done. Here
is a picture from the hard workers.
Next, we switched
our focus to math. We took up the answers from the multiplication homework and
then we started division by 2 digits! We started with a video first, here is the link, and afterwards we completed a note together. Below is a picture of
the note.
The students then worked on three questions, including a word problem. It was a very intense work period. So I am giving the students a break
and tomorrow we will practice math some more. Therefore there is no math
homework tonight.
For the Spain
project, I checked the completion of the research sheet and then we spoke about
how the students need to split the work; each group had to decide who would do
pictures, the write-up, and anything additional needed for their project. We
have even involved Mr.Beresford for a special surprise.
